Interests and activities
Health related educational programs and projects: I was a member
of the Rolling Meadows Board of Health for 5 years. As a board member and committee
chair I organized education programs for NSCCS, a local multidisciplinary health
related consortium.
I enjoy participating in research and grant writing. Developed
a Community Health Nursing Program Proposal for the City of Rolling Meadows in
1989, which lead to the formation of a Community Health Nurse position.
Continuing Education
I have previously and currently taken many courses in continuing
education to further my nursing knowledge in Geriatrics, diabetic, cardiac, and
other areas of nursing.
I have completed the 13th Annual Multidisciplinary Certificate
Program in Geriatrics for Non-Physicians in 11/2004 provided the University of
Illinois at Urbana Champaign College of Medicine and the Department of Family
Medicine.
